# witness — Many people, many agents, one set of rules.

One project for your team and all its agents: the agents work by your rules and write down what they did, and you decide only what needs a person.

- Steer Claude Code or Codex from witness, or use your favourite agent over MCP. No MCP? A link works too. Either way it gets your rules, and the card shows who is on it.
- Explain it once. Every agent gets your purpose and rules before its first write, and what you teach one becomes a rule for all of them.
- Nothing gets lost. Every agent writes the cards as it goes, in the name of the person it works for.
- Anyone you need. Hand a link to someone outside your company — no account, same project.
- Only what needs you. Triage, decisions and verification come one card at a time, with what you need to judge each.

One project, one address. A browser at a project link gets the page; anything else gets the agent contract — the project's purpose, its working rules and every call, generated from the project itself. Whoever hands you a link has handed you the credential: there is no account on that door.
