Placing is a choice
The layout holds only the cards someone chose to put there. Not every card needs a place, and an unplaced card is nothing to clean up. The list always shows every card, and a card keeps its status wherever it sits. To place a card, press Place cards and drag one onto the plane. To draw a region, press Boundary, draw around what belongs together, and give it a name.Regions are written for your agents
Every region has a name, and a line under it, One sentence for agents, that says what belongs there. Every agent working the project reads each region’s name and sentence before its first write, and every card it reads says which regions it sits inside. So the sentence does the work. An agent that files a card can place it in the region whose sentence fits. If an agent puts a card in the wrong place, move the card, then sharpen the region’s sentence: moving the card fixes that one card, and a sharper sentence helps every agent after it. By default, an agent places a card it files when it can say why, and rearranges the layout only when someone asks. Those are working rules, so your team can change them. Writing working rules →What you can ask your agent
- “Group these cards and draw a region around them, with a sentence saying what they have in common.”
- “Put the cards you filed today where they belong.”
- “What’s in Checkout that isn’t Done?”
